Our hours are 10.00 – 16.00 Monday – Friday. The bookshop area for visitors offers plenty of wonderful and remarkable books which for some reason are not suitable for the internet marketplace. Most of them are yours for less than £5.00, many are only £1.00. We have some old maps, illustrations, ephemera, etc. Bargains galore, for the whole family. (Please note: The warehouse shelving is not accessible for visitors)

We are aware of a certain virus that has recently been making the rounds. Ours is a constrained space, and in the colder months ventilaton is an issue. We ask you to proceed with caution and maintain social distance.

If you would like to inspect titles from our online listing, we would be pleased to show them to you. Please be aware that we may not be available to attend to your needs instantly as we we may be busy with on-line orders or working to a deadline. If you drop us a line beforehand, we will do our best to prepare items for you to look at. The best way to browse our internet stock is through our unique Kitchen page: Browse by combining multiple subject terms

Directions:

Books you don't need in a place you can't find. Well, you may never have been here before, but if you follow instructions, we are not that hard to find. Remember the big box Retail Park ("desert") off Newmarket Road? Remember the roundabout just next to a similarly desolate shopping paradise called "Beehive Centre"? Between those two beauties, steer your bicycle over the bicycle bridge, crossing the railway lines (Those in cars have to take the other bridge) and then, just at the bottom of the bridge, make a very sharp turn left back into Coldhams Road - not to be confused with Coldhams Lane. Go back towards the railway, follow the road as it turns right, watch those potholes, pass the Centre for Computing History, cross the railway line to Newmarket, and look out for signs for Belfast Bed Superstore or St Barnabas Press. This is where we are. The site is called Restwell House, - we share it with Jack's Gelato, Steak and Honour, a car workshop, etc. We are hidden in plain view, in the big brown shed right in front of your nose, books you don't need in a place you can't find! Bike parking racks provided.

If you see signs for Moussa Minerals or Hilary's Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers, then you have gone too far.
