Very rare edition of this famed erotic novel, followed by an even scarcer title (La Grande Rose) which we have been unable to track down elsewhere. Confessions Galantes first appeared in 1872 in Brussels. In this edition it runs to 118pp, followed by a continuously-paginated half-title for La Grande Rose (pp121-128, apparently complete).
