Description: 13 volumes in original full calf degraded with spines absent and boards detached, all bindings tight and firm, marbled endpapers and bright marbled edges, faint library discard stamp to prelims (not to title), text very clean, very faint pencil numbers to title, the first nine volumes are marked New Edition, the remainder is first edition, the index volume 235p) is bound together with "The General Orders" (592p), very original Wellington (half a yard), ready for some minor spinal remedial work, some spine fragments preserved, perhaps short one or two boards, the first volumes has an piece of paper with an address in Edinburgh, (Miss Trotter (?), 12 George Square) pasted to endpaper that also bears a faint impression of a postal marking)
