Description: this is the complete 6 volume edition, with frontispiece portrait with tissue-guard, library markings, library regulations of the Free Public Library of Danielsonville, Conn, to inside front board of all volumes, also ink stamp "Peoples Public Library", elaborate note in ink by the librarian that this set was discarded with approval of the board of directors and replaced with a new set, this set has poor hinges with spines detaching, some bindings coming apart, and other faults, one spine replaced with plain cloth tape, faults include occasional very elaborate circular pencil annotations to some pages by an early reader, where circular means that the annotation goes around the page in all available margins in a circular manner. Expect a well worn set with all manner defects, original and paper yellowing, and allow extra postage depending on destination
