Description: viii 247p plus 32p publisher's catalogue in the back, portrait frontispiece, a rather worn and chewed and well travelled copy with interesting book-trade associations relating to Auckland in New Zealand. The copy wears a large 1922 calendar page advert on the front board with the exhortation "Exchange this book at Aislabie's / Top O'Pitt Street". The half title adds the ink stamp of Subritzky's, Book Exchange, dated 10 Feb 1920, with an address at 338 Queen Street, opposite Grey Statue. In addition, the ink stamp "Bar Bara/ Book Shop/ 18 Pit Street" is present. Also includes a scan of an advert from the Auckland Star from 1918 featuring Aislabie's business. Here is hoping that this one will travel back to NZ somehow.
