Description: viii 263p original terracotta cloth, spine lettering a bit dull, library shelfmark lettered in white to bottom of spine, text fresh and clean and very little used, library bookplate to endpaper, library stamp to top edge, folding table well preserved, this copy with some animated but neat and legible pencil notes to text on approx two dozen pages, still a nice copy of the first edition of Keynes' first book. It appears that this copy early on had a single reader. Armed with a pencil, their notes sometimes try to improve the language of the author. The annotated page is an extreme example. The library discard likely occurred because of the annotations and not representative
