Description: Incomplete set of 10 (of 11) volumes, missing Volume 4, paginated continuously to 3848p over the first 8 volumes, followed by two index volumes, paginated in Roman numerals to, wait for it, 999 (recte DCCCCXCIX), bound in original(?) plain paper covered boards grey, spines recently supported with fitting plain paper structure and volume label, all bindings tight, engraved frontispiece to the first volume, large format edition, spine height 25cm, paper clean and fresh even if initial pages show light foxing, a well preserved set. To estimate the loss of Volume 4 we add that Volume 3 is paginated to page 1480 (Metamorph XI) and that Volume 5 starts with Fastorum Lib 3 on page 1937.
