Cash
A few of our customers prefer to send cash in the mail. We don't recommend it, but if you want to send Euros, US Dollars or GB Pounds, wrap notes well in paper or foil, no coins, and use registered mail.

VAT
Books from Plurabelle are zero rated for VAT purposes (Value Added Tax, Mehrwertsteuer). Some institutions do require the VAT number of their suppliers, even if no tax is charged. Our VAT number is GB 636 84 9300. Librarians, please include your own VAT number with your order so we can generate the correct invoice for your accounting department.

As of July 2021, Customers who are resident in European Countries that charge VAT on books may face import duties through their local tax authorities. Orders which are placed through major resellers like ABE or AMAZON will be mailed with a "Import Duty Paid" (IOSS) certificate and do not attract this charge.

Receipt
If you have ordered your book through one of the global bookselling sites where we list our stock and if you have paid through their checkout facilities, then your commercial relationship is with this provider and your credit card statement serves as your receipt.

Returns
Your rights as a consumer are protected by European Directive on Consumer Rights (2011/83/EC). This means you have 14 days to change your mind about your purchase. It also means that loss in transit is our loss, not yours. You are entitled to a refund of the cost of the book and the outgoing postage. We do request that you get in touch before returning a book so that we can discuss details. We do request that our customers pay the return postage if they change their mind. If you want to return a book because we made a mistake (yes, it does happen sometimes), then we will be work with you to make sure that you are not out of pocket.
