Author: Sophocles Linwood, William
Publisher: Oxford: Talboys 1841.
Description: This volume contains the Sophocles in Greek (1846, 497p) and the Lexicon (1841, 275p) bound in back. The half morocco binding is intact and firm, it is lettered "Sophocles Linwood / Lexicon", but the first title has lost its title page. There are some pretty faint pencil note to quite a few pages of the greek text, not obstrusive. The binding offers marbled endpapers (hinges firm and tight) and marbled edges. Some old splash-soiling to front board. A pretty good omnibus
